Dave Grohl hits the drums less hard than usual as he sits in with the bird and the bee during this ‘Late Late Show’ performance.
If you listen to Afentra’s Mixtape, you probably heard her share Hall & Oates covers by piano-pop duo the bird and the bee. The duo stopped by ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ last night to cover some Van Halen, and Dave Grohl sat in on drums.
Now I say Dave had to hit the drums less hard because the bird and the pee have more of a jazz/lounge feel. Take a look/listen:
Way back in 2010, the bird and the bee released Interpreting the Masters vol. 1: A Tribute to Hall & Oates. It’s only taken 9 years – Greg Kurstin of the bird and the bee is a very busy producer – but we finally have a sequel. Interpreting the Masters vol. 2: A Tribute to Van Halen arrives this Friday.
