Foo Fighters mainman Dave Grohl is passing his quarantine time autobiographically.
Earlier this week Dave Grohl took to Instagram as @davestruestories with promises of “short stories that will make people smile. (I’m also a total f—ing spaz who can’t sit around doing nothing)”
Yesterday, good guy Dave unspooled his first yarn. The tale combines some Foo Fighters history with a road trip and nearly blowing up his neighbors.
Put on There’s Nothing Left To Lose (or, preferably, click the Listen Live link right up there ☝️ and enjoy our fine station) and tab through his amusing anecdote. There’s some salty language, in case you need to be advised of that sort of thing.
Foo Fighters’ follow-up to Concrete & Gold is finished but there’s no release date. We’re also still waiting on when the band will make it back to Kansas. Their 25th anniversary Van Tour date in Wichita on April 18th has yet to be rescheduled.
