System Of A Down just shared their first new music since 2005!
The band released 2 new tracks Thursday night, “Protect The Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz”. The band members are using the songs to help raise money for humanitarian relief in Armenia (they are all of Armenian descent). There’s been an ongoing war between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“Protect The Land” is longer, slower, and more melodic.
And “Genocidal Humanoidz” is half as long and highlights the band’s aggressive side.
Aside from sporadic live appearances, System Of A Down has been largely dormant for the past 15 years. Before these two tracks, their last new music was the double-whammy of albums Mezmerize and Hypnotize back in 2005.
Are you hoping these 2 songs spur more new music from them?
